Read MoreWith Thanksgiving just a few days away, we know that Christmas is near and the holidays are officially upon us. Check out some of the most unique flavors of holiday desserts in The Bahamas.
After such a mind boggling year, I am definitely looking forward to all the (at home) celebrations. Whenever I think about ‘the most wonderful time of the year’ gingerbread, eggnog, pumpkin and sugar cookie immediately come to mind. Pulpy, the original Bahamian rolled ice cream shop has the perfect holiday flavors in The Bahamas.
The best part is that it’s never too cold for ice cream in The Bahamas. Here are the best holiday desserts in The Bahamas that you absolutely have to try.
Introduced at the start of the Fall season, this dessert is heavenly.
Pumpkin puree and spices mixed, topped with cinnamon crunch cereal and a whole lot of caramel. This pumpkin spice ice cream is Thanksgiving in a cup. It’s a must this holiday season.
From the first taste, the eggnog flavour instantly takes you into a world of holiday bliss. This dessert begins with a vanilla base then is infused with Evan Williams’ delicious blend of whisky, brandy and rum eggnog. After that, it is served with a Danish butter cookie, a swirl of whipped cream and lastly, a shot of eggnog. Don’t forget to squeeze everything out of the shot for the best Boozy Eggnog ice cream ever.
I love anything Baileys related. Cakes, brownies, drinks you name it. As a result of this fondness, I was intrigued by Pulpy’s newest holiday addition. This ice cream is infused with Irish cream and has a chocolate and coffee base. If this wasn’t already delicious enough, two chocolate-filled wafer sticks and a drizzle of chocolate decorate this dessert.
You should definitely stop into Pulpy at #71 Village Road and visit their website to check out all of their amazing flavours. Additionally, they welcome customizations and substitutions and who doesn’t like a little personalization? I can’t wait to visit Pulpy again. Those flavours are what my holiday dessert dreams are made of! And they definitely make holiday desserts in The Bahamas worth having!
