The Bahamas is known for its unique cuisine, but what do you really know about the drinks?
Strawberry and Pina Colada blended to perfection makes this delicious frozen drink a delight. It’s the best of both worlds and pairs so well with conch fritters. In our hot tropical climate, it is always a great idea to get a mouthwatering daiquiri. Many places try, however, the best Miami Vice Daiquiri can be found at Twin Brothers at Arawak Cay.

Before Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion coined the acronym WAP, Drifters had been using it for years as the name of one of their signature drinks. Fruity in taste, slightly similar to rum punch, this unique blend literally sneaks up on you. Additionally, I think the name is a play on words, as this drink will Slap (Wap) you in the face; in a good way though.

If it’s one mixed drink, I’m always in the mood for it’s a mojito. Honestly, it’s the variety for me. From the classic to strawberry, mango and now tamarind. If you are unfamiliar with tamarind, it is a brown sweet-tangy pod-like fruit. This drink just keeps getting better. Hillside Bar serves up this libation in an outside, airy, aesthetically pleasing space.

Usually, I’m not a Gin & Tonic kinda girl. However, Bon Vivants‘ twist on this classic drink turned me into a believer. Adorned with citrus slices, flower petals and other greenery, the Zephyr is a beauty and will definitely have people asking, “What is that?” This refreshing beverage has two versions. While enjoying everything that Nassau has to offer, you decide whether to take a trip to Barcelona or Paris.
